Brainspotting is a leading edge evidence based neuro-experiential approach which evolved out of EMDR and is now used worldwide for a range of psychological issues. If you have found talk therapy ineffective in the past, Brainspotting offers an excellent opportunity to work with issues on a deeper level and in a much more holistic way, understanding that healing is embodied and not cognitive. As a form of depth psychology, clients will often find that Brainspotting can unlock issues which other forms of counselling  may have overlooked or failed to fully address.


Based on the simple awareness that where you look affects how you feel, Brainspotting therapists empower clients to process the totality of their experience – somatic, neuro-physiological, and emotional – in the subcortical ‘feeling brain’, rather than getting stuck in the cognitive and rational regions of the neocortical ‘thinking brain’.


Brainspotting allows us to work with the specific neural pathways and regions of the brain in order to achieve healing on a deep and profound level. Brainspotting is not only effective in working with ‘activating’ issues – such as trauma, addiction, anxiety, physiological blocks and pain, depression, and stress  – but also powerful as a tool for resourcing and expansion work. Using Brainspotting, we can work to help clients to access and master a state of natural comfort and optimal Flow. By utilising the deeper regions of the subcortical brain, we can help you be your best self, living life to the fullest.
