Individual

Leading you from force to Flow

I believe individuals come to therapy to rid themselves of suffering. This suffering can present itself in many forms – ranging from fluctuating moods to panic attacks – and can manifest with both physiological and emotional symptoms.

Often the suffering itself may be masked by maladaptive coping strategies, such as patterns of addiction, self sabotage, self neglect, or destructive relationships.

I will work with you to uncover the root cause of your suffering, and to remove any residual blocks or trauma that may exist within the nervous system as a result. We will address any maladaptive habits that you want to change, and enable you to replace these with healthier choices.

If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness.

I have over 15 years experience in the psychology field, in both the public and private sectors. My approach to therapy is relational (which means that I am present and collaborative in therapy, as opposed to taking a more distant ‘blank screen’ approach) and phenomenological (focusing primarily on the unique lived experience of each client, rather than towards preconceived diagnoses, labels, or interventions). I use an integrative model, having trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Bowenian Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Experiencing, and Polyvagal work. I always work within the dual attunement framework – both relational and somatic – working with my client’s neurophysiology to empower healing as effectively and efficiently as possible.

I am a trauma-informed therapist, and work with neurodivergent clients from all across the spectrum. I work within the liberation model of psychology, as opposed to any of the oppression models. I am also fully trained as a sex therapist, and identify as kink aware.

I am fully registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association for Family Therapy (AFT) in the UK, and abide by their code of ethics, and I continue to hold membership with CAMFT and AAMFT in the USA. I am also a Graduate Members of the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as a member of the UCLH NHS Foundation Trust. I am a registered provider with most major insurers, including Aviva, AXA, and BUPA International.
